Lake Otomińskie (near Gdańsk, Poland) on a still and misty morning. The water is calm and reflective, with a thin layer of ice forming along the shore. The opposite bank is obscured by a thick layer of fog.
I hadn't anticipated the fog, and I think it didn't really do justice to most of the lakeside scenes. The opposite bank is barely visible, though there's some layering going on. The lake is half-frozen and featureless, and the only somewhat interesting foreground elements were the textured ice and vegetation on the shore. I don't consider this shot particularly pleasing; it lacks a clear subject and the bottom part is rather distracting. But I've seen much worse.
