Lake Skanda at sunrise.

What drew me to this composition was the framing provided by the branches and the morning mist over the calm water. I later noticed a spiral that the branches and the reeds create, which I find to be a compelling element. The Warm colours in the sky add a pleasant colour contrast to an otherwise cool scene.

With shots like this, I'm even OK with the absence of a clear, immediately identifiable subject.
