An island on Lake Skanda (Olsztyn, Poland) at sunrise.
I was taking a stroll around Lake Skanda, testing Kodak Vision3 500T. The shortening days in Autumn have the advantage of offering good conditions for sunrise shots, while not making me wake up at 3 AM. This shot was taken shortly after 7 AM, which is early but manageable.
The island was quite a sight, and I immediately knew it would make a good subject if the composition were right. I tried three focal lengths in landscape and portrait orientation, with framing from the tree branches on the shore and without. I believe this symmetrical composition is the best of the bunch.
