There was a sizeable crowd forming around a group of three performers. This photo was captured while they were still warming up before their show. It's one of very few street photographs of mine that I consider good. The subject occupies the very centre of the frame, and the depth of field is shallow enough to provide a clear separation from the background, but while leaving in a ton of context - enough to precisely locate the scene.

The edits consisted of darkening the foreground piece of pavement and playing around with colours for a somewhat moody, brownish palette.
