Lake Otomińskie at sunrise. The forests around the lake form layers behind thin mist and reflect in the still water.
I set out to photograph the sunrise over Lake Otomińskie, and succeeded after I don't even recall how many attempts. This shot was taken maybe half an hour after sunrise, still during golden hour, but with the sun already well above the horizon. It was practically in the frame, and I was surprised to see how insanely resistant to flaring the 50 mm 1:1.4 lens from Minolta is. The contrast is well retained too, which is a testament to the quality of Minolta's MD line of lenses.
